As we wrap up our Yellowstone/Grand Teton series, we wanted to culminate with OUR Top 5 places to see in Yellowstone. I think it’s pretty obvious what you should see in the Grand Tetons……..the Grand Tetons.
Fun fact: There are over 10,000 hydro-thermal “features” in Yellowstone (straight from the NPS website)!! While Old Faithful and the Upper Geyser Basin seem to be the most popular, the Norris Geyser Basin, Paint Pots, Grand Prismatic, and West Thumb are GREAT places to see a number of other geysers, fumaroles, mud pots, and hot springs.
You can watch the video of our experience with different thermal features on our YouTube Channel!
While most people travel to Yellowstone just to see Old Faithful, it might have been the one “attraction” that we were somewhat dreading. There are SO MANY people in attendance for the geyser’s frequent and stunning eruptions.
You can watch the video for our time around Old Faithful HERE!
