This wasn’t the vacation we had planned for months ago, BUT it’s the vacation we lived and we couldn’t complain.
Our trip to the North Cascades National Park was hindered only by the smoke and air quality. We arrived while the wildfires were raging in the west, so we kept most of our adventures light. First stop: the Trail of the Cedars.
You know the phrase “Sand everywhere!”? I say it ALL the time when we’re going to the beach, at the beach, coming home from the beach….. and this time when I said it, there wasn’t an ocean to be found. But frankly, there was sand EVERYWHERE. You can watch the video here!!
For short trips into Death Valley, these are two incredibly easy sights to see! Both are magical (in their own ways) and both have landscapes you won’t find many other places. You can watch our short video here!
As we wrap up our Yellowstone/Grand Teton series, we wanted to culminate with OUR Top 5 places to see in Yellowstone. I think it’s pretty obvious what you should see in the Grand Tetons……..the Grand Tetons.
Sometimes a simple hike is all you need in life. I’ll go ahead and trademark that quote right now. I’m sure there’s some paperwork involved, but if you see this quote on the interwebs, I’m guessing they got it from this moment. Right here. Orrrrr maybe I’m not the first person to type it. But I feel like it. Too much tangent? Okay, I’ll stop. The fact remains: sometimes a simple hike is all you need in life.
